He is survived by: his parents, Barbara Gordon Curtis and Robert Curtis; his wife Melissa Curtis; his children, Matthew Curtis (Amy), Christian Gordon (Kalyn), Michael K. W. Curtis (Terrianne) and Julie; and his grandchildren, Hope, Faith, Grace, Lorelei, Luke and Jack. He is also survived by his parents; and his nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation (869 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
