It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Johnson of Goose Creek, South Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William and Ruth Ellis, Sr.; and her siblings, District Missionary Henrietta Edwards and Norvell J. Ellis of Brooklyn. She is survived by: her husband Bishop Johnnie James Johnson of Goose Creek, SC; her children, Charles Patrick Mazyck of New York, Shadeed Shareef Mazyck of Columbia, SC, Melvin Mazyck of Charleston, SC, Anita Mazyck of Summerville, SC, Sharntelle Lucrisha Johnson (Jeff) of Goose Creek, SC and Yohanna Williams of Summerville, SC; and her sisters, Rosetta of Washington and Betty L. Johnson of Summerville, SC. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
