Loida Balterocruz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loida Balterocruz of Goose Creek, South Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eustaquia Dolin Huerta and Felixberto Huerta. She is survived by: her husband Gregorio Balterocruz; her children, Vergel Balterocruz and Marie Balterocruz; her grandsons, Daonte'Voeltz Jr., Darien Voeltz and Kai'ren Huerta; and her siblings, Melinda Buzalko, Helen Camisera, Divina Gravley, Connie Reed and Dennis Huerta.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation (869 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (510 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Berkeley Memorial Gardens (635 SC-6, Moncks Corner, SC 29461).
