She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie D. Powell and Maggie Jordan Powell; her daughters, Alice M. Skipper and Bonnie F. Gunn; her sons-in-law, Vernon "Cootie" Haynes and Bill T. Gunn; her grandson Otto Kaske, II; and her great grandchildren, Allison Haynes, Jessica Haynes, Travis Garrett and Otto Kaske, IV.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy Frank Skipper; her children, Mildred Haynes of Moncks Corner, Betty Kaske (Otto) of Pimlico, Helen White (Mike) of Goose Creek, Glenda King (Mike) of Goose Creek, Pat S. Miller (Robert) of Goose Creek and Fred Skipper (Patti) of Goose Creek; and her sister Lizzie Jane Alford of Goose Creek. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
