She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Brookshire Sr. and Louise Brown Brookshire; and her son Brian Michael Allen. She is survived by: her husband Patrick Allen; her children, Jerry Allen, Joy Bennsky (Richie) and Kristie Allen; and her siblings, Franklin O Brookshire Jr. (Beverly), Brenda Jenkins (Vernon), Janet Starnes (Wayne) and Tammy Boan (Terry). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
