Metts, Jr. and Joy Knowlton Metts; his wife Amy; his son Zac Metts (Brianna) of Sugar Hill, GA; his grandson Wyatt Bowen; his siblings, Elaine Farmer (Derek), Tina Scott (Bruce) of Palm Coast, FL, Jeannie Ottinger, Terry Grammer, Missy Campbell of Goose Creek, SC and Joey Criscione; and his in-laws, Gerry and Delaine Van of Kamp.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Berkeley County Animal Center, 131 Central Berkeley Drive, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
