She is survived by: her husband Jerry McDowell; her children, Kristen McDowell Snowden (Thomas) of Summerville, SC and Justin McDowell (Mindy) of Moncks Corner, SC; her grandchildren, Lauren Kate Snowden, Benjamin Wilson Snowden and Mackenzie Kay McDowell; her pet Lola; and her siblings, Dr. Jerry Buchanan (Karen) of Louisville, KY, David Buchanan of Hanahan, SC, Carol Tillman (Jim) of North Charleston, SC and Gayle Bochette (Frank) of Eloree, SC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
