He is survived by: his parents, John S. Kerns, II of Vero Beah, FL and Stephanie Culbertson Kerns Woolward; his wife Tania M. C. Kerns; his children, Heather Poynter (Richard) of Fairbanks, AK, Allie Krauss (Bob) of Millsboro, DE, Quinton Kerns of New York, NY and Justin Kerns of Philadelphia, PA; his stepdaughter Jennifer Leary of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Stephanie "Stevie" Lynn Kerns of Owings Mills, MD and Barton Kerns of Owings Mills, MD; and his grandchildren, Madison Krauss, George Poynter and Ella Kerns.
