He was predeceased by: his parents, Vickie Buchanan and Dennie Buchanan. He is survived by: his sons, John Wesley Buchanan Jr. and Mason Blaize Buchanan; and his sister Becky Buchanan Powell (David). He is also survived by cousins and friends who he considered extended family.
