John Blanton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Blanton of Goose Creek, South Carolina, born in Bryson City, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 13, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonnie Bridges Blanton and Robert Blanton; and his siblings, Don Blanton, Lee Blanton and Hazel Laws.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Blanton; and his son Ronald Blanton (Amy). He is also survived by grandchildren; and his 6 wonderful great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tri-City Baptist Church for the gym fund.
