He was predeceased by: his mother Martha "Libby" Goldman. He is survived by: his father Harvey Goldman, Sr.; his sisters, Debby Richmond (Jerry) and Susie Simmons (Randall); and his nieces and nephews, Ashton Houghton (Scott), Ally Killian (Trent), Sarah Schuster (Chris), Allen Baker and Patrick Simmons (Kayla). He is also survived by 9 great nieces and great nephews.

Butch's kind heart was evident in the many charities he supported including The Alzheimer's Association, Toys for Tots, Wounded Warriors, and St. Jude's, and it was most apparent in his willingness to always help others.
