It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grippie Lee Lawson of Goose Creek, South Carolina, born in Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lawson; his children, Grippie Lee Lawson, Jr. (Emilie) of Goose Creek, SC, Billy Brian Lawson (Dana) of Moncks Corner, Elise Lawson Wisner and Mignon High of Goose Creek, SC; his grandchildren, Kathryn Marie Stuckey (Bradley), Grippie Lee Lawson III (Alicia), Trevor Richardson Lawson, Sean Davis Lawson, Jaylen Hines Lawson, Corey Wisner, Noah Wisner, Carolyn Noelle Wisner, Marie Wisner (Chris Sosa), Sylvia Pilger (Brandon), Kathryn Elizabeth Tuten (Terry), Brian Harley Lawson, Robert High and Christina Williamson (Casey); his great grandchildren, Asher Charles Stuckey, Cannon Lee Stuckey, Grippie Lee Lawson IV, Elouise Ann Lawson, Carson Luke Lawson, Ellis Richardson Lawson, Sofia Marie Sosa, Thomas Curtis Pilger, Teyha Nicole Lawson, Delainey Tuten, Keely High, Kayla Beck, Casey Williamson, Jr., Raeylynn Williamson and Dominic Williamson; and his siblings, Bobby Lawson (Dorothy) of Galivants Ferry, SC, Hazel Edwards of Conway, SC, Lib Johnson of Loris, SC, Susie Harrelson (Edward) of Galivants Ferry, SC and Wanda Cox (Dennis) of Galivants Ferry, SC..
