It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald D Hunt (Goose Creek, South Carolina), who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gerald leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his father John Wesley Hunt, Sr.; and his sister Etta Yvonne Townsend. He is survived by: his mother Louise Hunt of Las Vega, NV; his uncle Gee; his brothers, John Wesley Hunt, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV and Donald J. Hunt of Las Vegas, NV; his nieces, Anna Ravenell of Goose Creek, SC and Sammarica Shearin of Biloxi, Mississippi; his sisters, Shirlene Gathers of North Charleston, SC, Katy Price of Goose Creek, SC and Rhonda Wright of North Charleston, SC; and his close friends, Julius and Latrisha Reid of Summerville, SC.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rivers Funeral Home Chapel (421 Red Bank Rd, Goose Creek, SC 29445).
