He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Sweat and Rosalie Sweat; and his grandson Dakota Sweat. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sweat (Smith); his children, Sherri Kari (Bill), Tiffany Nawrocki and Kevin Sweat (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Evan, Ethan Kari, Brooke, Anna, Cole, Jack Nawrocki, Zackary, Zeke Sweat and Courtney Allen. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren and his four dogs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George's memory may be sent to American Heart Association – Lowcountry or American Diabetes Association.
