He was predeceased by: his wife Lelia Young; his daughter Julie Truss; and his stepchildren, Betty Alvarez and John R. Stallworth. He is survived by: his children, Sydney Potter of Sacramento, CA and Dennis Young (Francine) of Atwater, CA; his adoptive daughter Alice Young of Monticello, NY; his stepdaughter Helen Reed of New York; and his stepgrandson John Stallworth, III. He is also survived by step grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
