He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Ellsworth Miller and Carmen G. Miller (Gonzalez); and his sister Julie Evatt. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Miller of Goose Creek, SC; his children, Christa Miller, Brittany Morris (Allen), Caitlin Miller and Bradley Miller; his siblings, Jacoba Collins (Dave), Carmen M. Miller and Kenny Miller; and his brother-in-law Joseph Evatt. He is also survived by 10 nieces, 4 nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital.
