It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eva Dawson (Goose Creek, South Carolina), born in Cordesville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William P. Phillips, Sr. and Violet Dennis Phillips; her son Anthony "Tony" Dawson; her granddaughter Samantha L. Driggers; and her great grandchildren, Terry Prine and Joshua Ford.
She is survived by: her children, Mary D. Hughes of Aylette, VA, Thomas H. Dawson of Goose Creek, Michael O. Dawson of Charleston and Raymond O. Dawson of Goose Creek. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Cordesville First Baptist Church, 1913 Highway 402, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
