She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ferguson and Alberta Reid Ferguson; her husband Johnnie Gadsden; and her sons, Johnnie Gadsden, Jr. of Edward and Clyde "Tokey" Gadsden.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Goodwine, Geneva Pinckney (David), Mary Borden (Harris) of Cynthia and Dexter Gadsden (Debra); and her siblings, Herlene Johnson, Henry "Jule" Ferguson, Jr. and Isaiah Ferguson. She is also survived by daughters-in-law; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Face masks are required when visiting the home.
