With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Russell Turner Jr. of Goose Creek, South Carolina, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on July 12, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David Russell may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David Russell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reba Martin Turner and David Turner, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Patti Turner; his stepdaughters, Felicia Puckett and Maria Knight; and his sisters, Melissa Shorter, Patti Bryson and Diann Simpson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.
