It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Collene Gander (Goose Creek, South Carolina), born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 26, 2018, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Joseph and Rachel Louise Phillips; and her brothers, Gary Curtis Phillips and Herman Joseph Phillips, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Mark E. Gander; her daughters, Karen Causey (Chad) of Loris, SC, Katherine Kraack (Evan) of Goose Creek, SC and Robin Gander of Rock Hill, SC; her siblings, Patsy Quinn, Peggy Phillips of Swansboro and Major Ray Phillips of Castle Hayne; and her grandchildren, Brenna, Olivia, Claire, Maggie, Peyton and Thomas.
