He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald Lee McElvogue and Christine Kennon McElvogue; his sons, C. C. McElvogue (Christina) of Moncks Corner, J. D, Andrew McElvogue (Morgan) of Moncks Corner and Logan McElvogue of Goose Creek; his grandchildren, Russell (Kayla), Hunter (Kailyn), Kaitlin, Emilie, Faith, Sophia and Raegan; and his great grandchild Colton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dial-Murray Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (112 E Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A burial will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the Mitchum Family Cemetery (1653 E Church St, Bonneau, SC 29431).
