He was predeceased by: his former wife Joyce; and his brother Dallas Acree Swindell (Patsy). He is survived by: his wife Linda Swindell; his daughters, Sue Schneider (Charleston), Janet Boggs (Robert) of Johns Island and Cathy Peets (Tony) of Ladson; and his brother Frankie Swindell (Patricia) of Kinston, NC.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
