He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Aloysius William Jones Sr. and Violet Gough; his wife Sarah Grayston (Sally) of Goose Creek, SC.; and his children, Sharon Webster (Allen), Theresa Adams and Aloysius W. Jones III (Rose).

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation.
