He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah Johnson; his son Steven Allen of Atlanta; his stepchildren, Ashley Marshall (Gregory) and Kevin Tillery (Shelby) of Walterboro; his granddaughter Ally Tillery; and his siblings, Verlencie Knowles, Patricia Smith, Rickey Allen, Phyllis Grimsley (Kenny), Trina Ron, Irma Allen-Lewis (Terrence) and Gene Saulsberry (Bonnie). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
