He is survived by: his wife Teresa Corbett Barden; his children, Derrick Barden (Amber), Amanda Thorne (Jeremy) and Chasity Kneece (Cameron); his siblings, Debra Holton (Larry), Becky Steele (Winston), Melanie Barden (Ed) and Timmy Barden (Penny); and his grandchildren, Dakota Thorne, Haleigh Thorne, Emma Barden, Madelyn Barden, Carter Kneece and English.
