He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Dewitt and Virginia Ruth Horne; and his brother David Eugene Horne. He is survived by: his wife Debra Lynn Horne; his children, Angela Lynn Bradley (Jon), Ashley-Winter Duckett (Derrick) and John Adam Everette Horne (Hanna); and his grandchildren, Grace Lynn Bradley, Jon Wesley Bradley, Lily Hope Duckett, Emma Rose Duckett, Everette James-Ryan Horne and Marylynn Michelle Horne.
