It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Bernhardt of Gilbert, South Carolina, born in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Ledford Puett of Virginia and Rev. Joseph Roscoe Puett; her husband Ron Bernhardt; and her former husband Carl C. Neal, Sr. (Ronald Bernhardt). She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Gayle Hughes of Bridge City, Charles Lynn Puett (Freida) of Darlington and John Allen Puett (Mel) of Blue Ridge, Georgia.; her children, Kimberly Chabra (Joe) of Waterloo, Carl Cameron Neal, Jr. of West Columbia and Pamela Reeder (Brett) of Gilbert; and her grandchildren, Nicole Kazmarski (Sheldon), Mae Phelps (Jordan), Larz Anthony (Chas), Cam Neal, III (Sarah), Caz Neal, Donovan Tinney, Breanna and Tug Reeder. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
