It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patsy Paschal Shealy of Gilbert, South Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Otto and Annie C. Paschal; and her sister Bertha P. Newman. She is survived by: her husband Robert B. Shealy; her siblings, Geneva P. Drawdy and Robert R. (Ronnie); her nieces and nephews, Starry Heinze (Lester), Golda Kuerti (Randy), James F. Smoak (Grace), John Robert Smoak and Bryant Robert Paschal (Victoria); and her sister-in-law Peggy Shealy Hodge. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, loving cousins and close friends.

“Pasty was a sister to my brother-in-law, Ronnie Paschal. He is married to my sister, Pat Amick Paschal. We have always been close to Patsy. She always said I was like a sister to her and always remembered my birthday. I loved her and when we got to come down to visit, she and Robert always came over to my sister's, Pat to visit with us. She was always a bright light. We will surely miss her. She is in a better place now, resting in the loving arms of our savior.”
