She was predeceased by: her parents, Coley Clamp and Leola Black Clamp; her husband James Wyman Smith; her daughter Carolyn Marlene Smith; and her siblings, John "Sonny" Clamp, Helen Kaminer and Sandra Bodie.
She is survived by: her daughter Rita Day (Dennis); her siblings, Richard, Hank Clamp and Bertha Walker; her grandchildren, Cody Day (Brooke), Dylan Day and Samantha Day Cockrell (Corey); and her great grandchild Ezra James Day.
