James R. Hook Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2023, James R. Hook of Gilbert, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyce Richard Hook and Mary Smith Hook of Leesville, SC.; and his siblings, Carolyn Cole, Gloria Nausley, Brenda Davis and Tony Hook.

He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Bryan Kelly of Aiken, Tanya Derrick (Todd) of Leesville and Tammy Long (Matthew) of Leesville; his grandchildren, Bryson, Paige Kelly, Hannah, Luke Derrick, Kane and Hunter Long; and his siblings, Donna Stewart, Bonnie Meetze (Donnie), Adlyne Day (Butch), Lynn Clamp, Bobby Hook (Marlette) and Russell Hook (Sarah). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
