He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl F. Smith and Ernestine Keisler Smith. He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Smith (Kathy), Kathy Addy (Rhett), Caroline Jackson (Robin) and Charles Smith (Karen); and his grandchildren, Amber Grubbs, Justin Smith (Lori), Kaitlin Hucks (James), Chris Addy (Nikole), Bryan Addy (Kimra), Terry Jackson, Ryan Jackson, Brittany Jackson, Andrew Smith (Megan) and Alex Smith. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
