He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald O. Leaphart, Sr. and Shirley Shealy Leaphart. He is survived by: his daughter Joy Leaphart; his brothers, Damone Leaphart (Janis) and Chad Leaphart (Elean); his nieces and nephews, Felder Leaphart (Emily), Jennifer Walters-McCarthy (Hunter), Jack Leaphart, Gray Leaphart and Ella Jane Leaphart; and his great-nieces, Eliza Turner Leaphart and Poppy Louise Walters-McCarthy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Horeb Church (1205 Old Cherokee Rd, Lexington, SC 29072). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the same location.
