It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benjamin Temple of Gilbert, South Carolina, born in Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Anthony Temple, Dwayne Temple and Jonathan Lewis Temple. He is survived by: his daughters, Rachel Bowers (Daniel), Elizabeth Temple, Barbara Temple and Katriciann Temple; his grandson Aiden Thatcher Bowers; his fiancée Wendy Hanks; and his siblings, Brian Temple (Suzanne), Maurance Temple, Timothy Temple (Grace) and Ginger Rene'Bouknight (Sammy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barr-Price Funeral Home Batesburg-Leesville Chapel (256 Main St, Leesville, SC 29070). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Christ's Sanctified Holy Church - West Columbia (823 Jackson St, West Columbia, SC 29169).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Eastern Cherokee Nation of SC, 3688, State Road S-30-40, Laurens SC 29360, in memory of "Silent Wolf".
