He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Bone and Mevaline Tisdale Bone; and his brother Russell Bone. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Hanna Bone; his sons, Woody T. "Ted" Bone, Jr. (Lisa Wright), Emory Bone (Tammy) and Brandon Hitchcock (Kelly); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Matthew, Alison and Amanda (Jose); his brother Terry Bone (Janet); and his aunt Jeanette Browder. He is also survived by his family, Woody had a deep love for animals.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Piney Forest Baptist Church (656 Piney Forest Rd, Andrews, SC 29510).
