She was predeceased by: her mother Wanda Faye Cooper Chavis; and her grandparents, Albert "Sonny Boy" Chavis and Bobbie Jean Cooper. She is survived by: her father David Mitchell Chavis, Sr. (Melissa Casselman); her brothers, David Mitchell Chavis Jr., James Matthew Chavis and Cole Lee Chavis; and her grandparents, Ethel Freeman Chavis and David Cooper. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
