He was predeceased by: his parents, Dura Fields Britt and Joseph Ethridge Britt; his former wife Wanda H. Britt; and his siblings, Cecil Britt, Simp Britt, Joe Britt and Jeanette Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Britt; his children, Dereck Britt, Sandy Britt (Elizabeth), Bonnie Morrison (Bobby) and Ralph Thomas (Katie); his grandchildren, April Zorn (William), Lindsey Thomas (Stacey) and Michael Morrison (Mallory); and his brother Harley Britt (Shirley). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
