We bid farewell to Rowena Johnson Dawson of Georgetown, South Carolina, born in Saluda, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 2, 2024 at the age of 102. Rowena Johnson touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott Holmes Johnson and Lucille Elizabeth Kirby Johnson; her husband Calvin Conrad Dawson, Sr.; and her brothers, Rauton, Haskell, Bascom, Malcolm and Scott Johnson, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Calvin C. Dawson, Jr. (Jennifer), Clary S. Dawson (Doris) and Holly Dawson; and her grandchildren, Calvin C. Dawson, III, Hunter Dawson (Kirsten), Andrew Dawson (Stella), Brandon Dawson (Jessica) and Megan Dawson (Andy Zehr). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Georgetown Presbyterian Church, Columbarium Fund.
