It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert George Zothner (Georgetown, South Carolina), born in Lakewood, Ohio, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frank Zothner and Celia West Zothner; and his sister-in-law Katie Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Trudy Lawson Zothner; his children, Mike Kirk (Whitney) of Pensacola, FL, Eric Zothner (Tracy) of Pittsboro, NC, Scott Zothner of St. Petersburg, FL, Angela Kirk of Raleigh, NC and Sherry Cox (Brian) of Peachtree City, GA; his grandchildren, Kristie Zothner of Pittsboro, NC, Matt Zothner of Philadelphia, PA, Corbin Cox of Tempe, AZ, Campbell Cox of Peachtree City, GA and Saoirse Kirk of Pensacola, FL; his brother Gordon Zothner (Alice) of Houston, TX; and his brother-in-law Lee Jackson of Sharpsburg, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
