He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ralph Cribb, Pearline Cribb, John L. Whitnauer, Sr. and Retha Mae Whitnauer; and his aunts and uncles, Jeannette Britt, Merrell Casselman, Linda Hewitt, Larue Cribb, Larry Whitnauer and Jack Whitnauer.
He is survived by: his spouse Ronica Elaine Moore Whitnauer; his children, Adam Moore of Georgetown, Gavin Ward of Georgetown, Holly Whitnauer of Georgetown, Richard "Bam Bam" V. Whitnauer, Jr. of Georgetown and Emma Whitnauer of Georgetown; his grandson Grayson Moore of Georgetown; his siblings, Jennifer Whitnauer of Georgetown and Billy Whitnauer (Kellie) of Georgetown; his nephews, Alex Cook of Hemingway and John Cribb, III of Georgetown; his niece Heaven Cook of Georgetown; his aunts and uncles, Carol Ann Ward of Hemingway, Sherrell Whitnauer of Macedonia, Dennis Cribb of Hemingway and Frankie Whitnauer (Minnie) of Hollywood; his great-uncle Billy Singleton of Pawleys Island; his great-aunt Eloise Foxworth of Pawleys Island; his parents-in-law, Diane Taylor of Georgetown and Gary Moore of Summerville; and his sister-in-law Carrie Moore of Andrews.
