It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Heusel of Georgetown, South Carolina, born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on May 19, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gwen Duke Heusel of Georgetown, SC; his daughters, Heidi Freeman (Rob), Lisa Gillig (Rick) and Gretchen McCathern (Eddie); his stepchildren, Cindi Endredi (Joe) and John Templeton (Alma); his grandchildren, Sara Freeman Stanco (Caleb), Paul Gillig, Michelle Gillig, Leslie McCathern, Britni Thele (Jacob), Captain Brandon Templeton, Mary Allia Endredi and Tim Endredi; and his great grandchildren, Payton and Carson Thele. He was also cherished by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
