He was predeceased by: his parents, Legare Morrison Leland and Bonnie Dale Collins Leland; and his siblings, Bonnie Elizabeth Leland, Legare Morrison Leland, Jr. and Joseph Edward Leland.
He is survived by: his spouse Florrie Adalee Miller Leland; his sons, Richard G. Leland, Jr. (Andria), Kenneth B. Leland (Mary Jane) and David W. Leland (Lucy); his grandchildren, Parker (Lindsay), Rebecca, Alexandria, Griffin, Wells and Madison; and his great grandchild Henry.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Leland's memory may be made to Wayne United Methodist.
