He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Gordon Howell and Thelma Viola Prince Howell; his brothers, Russell Jackie Howell and Clifton Huey Rogers; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Annette Yarborough, Shawn Michael Howell-Scott and Dillon Chance Howell-Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Oneta Moore Howell; his daughters, Regina Howell Scott (Ken) of Georgetown and Rhonda Howell Howard (Andy) of Georgetown; his granddaughter Alexis Dianna Scott; and his great grandchild Aleeah Makenzie Scott.
