It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Faye Owens Ray (Georgetown, South Carolina), born in Hemingway, South Carolina, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Broadus Owens and Mary Katrina Miles Owens; and her brother Wendel Owens. She is survived by: her husband David L. Ray; her children, Lenora R. Sullivan (late Danny), Deborah R. Cremer (George), Jennifer R. Newton (Matt), Denise Ray and David Ray, II (Sabrina); her grandchildren, Danielle Sullivan, Lee Cremer, Tyler Newton, Savannah Newton, Addison Newton, Brittany Ray Morris (Tyler), Brandon Ray and Kayla Avant; and her great grandchildren, Connor Collins, Benji Sullivan, Haven Best, Ava Morris and James Morris.
Due to the increasing number of new cases of Covid, mask will be provided at the visitation and the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to SC House Calls, Agape Hospice and the Parkinson's Foundation.
