He was predeceased by: his parents, Donnie Lee Wayne Barrineau and Pansy Lynn Poston Langston; his brother William Gregory Alex Phillips; and his aunt Marilyn P. Berry. He is survived by: his son Kirvin McKiever Poston; his stepmother Patricia L. Barrineau-Elliott; his siblings, Teresa B. Glisson (Davey), Solon W. Barrineau (Cutina), Mariah Ray and Travis Ethridge; and his aunt Debbie Cusack Wyndham. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.
