She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Strickland and Margaret Anderson Vereen. She is survived by: her son Devin Chestnut (Ashley) of Andrews; her siblings, Charlie Ellis (Fannie) and Nancy Booth (Buddy) of Conway; her adoptive daughter Jacqueline Chestnut (Neil) of Andrews; and her grandchildren, Roger Chestnut, II (Amanda) of Cedar City, UT, Josey Ann Chestnut (Cody) of Andrews and Ariel Chestnut (Mark Brandon) of Andrews. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
