We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2024, at the age of 78, Joseph Hewitt Sr. (Georgetown, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harlem Hewitt and Florence Chavis Browder; his wife Linda Hewitt; his children, Wendy Lee Hewitt and Avery Allen Hewitt; and his grandson Anthony James Mitchell.
He is survived by: his stepfather Roland Browder (Jeanette) of Georgetown; his children, Linda Mitchell (John) of Bonneau and Joe Hewitt (Jennifer) of Moncks Corner; his grandchildren, Mikey Hewitt of Moncks Corner, Christopher Mitchell of Bonneau, Beverly Mitchell of Moncks Corner, Brandon Mitchell of Bonneau, Bradley Mitchell of Bonneau and Mitchell of Bonneau; his great grandchildren, Isabella Lee Gaskins of Bonneau, Bentley Liabastre of MoncksCorner and Braxton Liabastre of Moncks Corner; his brothers, Frankie Hewitt (Carol) of Georgetown and Randy Hewitt (Lizzy) of Dade City, FL; and his nephew Brandon Renwick of Moncks Corner. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM.
