It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jodie J. Parsons (Georgetown, South Carolina), who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Earl Parsons and Virginia Thornal Parsons; his former wife Jeanie Wilson Parsons; his wife Theresa Howard Parsons; his daughter Toni Cassleman Parsons; his stepson Brandon M. Johnson; and his sister Harriett Parsons Edwards.
He is survived by: his daughter Brandie P. Cribb (James) of Andrews; his siblings, Lynn Duke (Curtis) of Andrews, Mary Jordan (Davy) of Andrews, Larry Thornal (Dorothy) of Andrews and Bert Parsons (Cookie) of Moncks Corner; and his brother-in-law Edward L. Edwards of Summerville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
