With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean T. Urtz (Georgetown, South Carolina), born in Rome, New York, who passed away on March 10, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Turner and Frances Turner; her husband Francis Urtz; her daughter Joanie; and her siblings, Evelyn, Helen, Louis, Truman, Arlie, Ina, Joan and Ruby.
She is survived by: her sister Sandra DeFrees; her children, Jeanie Dailey (Francis), Gary Urtz, Lynn Berry, Larry Urtz (Kathy) and Bruce Urtz (Patty); her grandchildren, Michael Hendrix, Francis "Jake" Urtz, Diana Dailey, John Urtz, Sara Garel, Alan Urtz, Michael Urtz, Christopher Urtz and Stephen Urtz; and her great grandchildren, Joey, Charlie Hendrix, Manning, Lennon Gray Dailey, Leo Garel and Teddy Urtz.
