It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Ann Holmes of Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Gloria Ann's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Gloria Ann has bequeathed us. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her sons, Amos Holmes of Georgetown, SC and Barry Holmes (Sharon) of Aiken, SC; her mother Bertie Green of Georgetown, SC; and her siblings, Jerry Green, Jr. (Thomasina), Samme James Green, Michael Green (Sarah) of Georgetown, SC and Nathan Joe Green (Vennie) of Andrews, SC.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKnight Fraser Funeral Homes (2230 N Fraser St, Georgetown, SC 29440). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Light Baptist Church (316 Amelia Dr, Georgetown, SC 29440).
