It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fabius Avery Mitchell Sr. of Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father James Sanford Mitchell; and his brother James Sanford Mitchell, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Mitchell, Jr. (Laura) of Charlotte and Kimberly Mitchell Cheek (Kipp) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Amanda, Brandon, Christopher, Madison, Zachary, Megan and Gunnar; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Ava and Grayson. He is also survived by his family, his friends.
